Is there any proof or evidence of extraterrestrial life existence? (Troy D)
Thanks for your interesting question. [ Proof or evidence of extraterrestrial life ]
Troy, it depends on what proof you need.
There is video proof, anecdotal proof, circumstantial proof. There is proof provided by NASA – perhaps unwittingly in some respects. [ Proof or evidence of extraterrestrial life ]
As the astronaut, Edgar Mitchell, once said on camera, “I happen to have been privileged enough to be in on the fact that we’ve been visited on this planet, and the UFO phenomenon is real.”
You can catch the video here on Astronauts seeing UFOs.
Look at it by deduction
You can also look at it by deduction. If we can accept the following criteria then we can predict extraterrestrial life exists and has/is visiting us:
The first is that we are not alone in the universe. Just as this planet is teeming with life, there is every chance that life will be out there too. This is now becoming so obviously the case.
There is not just life but intelligent life out there. Some of this is older and more advanced than we – some of it is likewise going to be younger and less advanced than we.
At this point we can say, we simply don’t know for sure – although there are people who claim to have worked with extraterrestrials who, they say, are thousands of years in advance of ourselves.
If we accept the two conditions above, we can begin to accept that some the intelligent life could be visiting us – and may well have done so for thousands, possibly millions, of years. They would need to be using means of transport we are only getting a hint of at the this time – I’m thinking of portals or wormholes, or astral travel old school.
Anyhow, there are my thoughts. Bear in mind there is a lot of fear around this issue. A lot of us would prefer it didn’t exist. Once this Pandora’s box is opened (publicly) we will be facing huge changes in our beliefs and constructs about life and our place on the Earth.
We live in exciting, and possibly momentus, times.
